|The Queen’s Campus Amazing Race||Meet in front of the JDUC on Union Street||Tuesday, September 6th from 4 pm to 7 pm.||FREE!||This competition will involve exploring the Queen’s University Main Campus to take photos of important sites. It’s a race against time and your peers. You will be set into teams to complete the tasks assigned. Each photo you take is worth points. In the end, the group with the most points wins a prize (hint: free coffee!). Event begins at 4 pm in front of the JDUC on Union Street. This event is drop-in!|
|Speed Meeting at the Grizz||The Grizzly Grill

|Tuesday, September 6th from 8 pm to 11 pm.||$10||Come out to the Grizzly Grill to meet other SGPS members in a speed meeting fashion that is similar to speed dating minus the romantic agenda. Show up on time so we can kick off the speed meeting activities and have plenty of time to keep mingling once the formal activities are over. This event is very popular every year—tickets sell out quick! P.s. There will be free food. This event requires a ticket!|
|1000 Island’s Boat Cruise||Crawford Dock on 1 Brock Street||Wednesday, September 7th from 6:15 pm to 10:30 pm.||$15||Come out to the exclusive SGPS boat cruise! Be at the pier ready to board by 6:15. You will get one of the best tours of the 1000 islands that Kingston has to offer. Mingle with your new SGPS friends, and dance to the live DJ. Guests are welcome, but beware, tickets sell out fast and there are limited spaces. Delicious appetizers and a cash bar will be available. This event requires a ticket!|

|FREE||Want to get in some exercise, meet other students or simply try something new? The Athletics Commission will be hosting an adaptive Sports Day in the ARC upper gyms, so lace up those sneakers and get ready for some fun! The opportunity to learn and play wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, and a variety of other sports (adapted for persons of all abilities) will be offered on a drop-in basis from 1130 am to 330 pm on Thursday, September 8th. Looking forward to seeing you there. This event is drop-in!|
|SGPS Orientation Semi-Formal at Portsmouth Harbour||Portsmouth Harbour Restaurant

|Thursday, September 8th from 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm.||$50||Put on your nice clothes, favorite tie, and come out to the SGPS Semi-formal for a wonderful dinner at the Portsmouth Harbour Restaurant. Ticket includes dinner and a sparkling (non-alcoholic) beverage. There will be a fully stoked cash bar. A DJ will spin some tunes after dinner to get people pumped for the afterparty. This event requires a ticket!|

There will be a cash bar, a dance floor, and a pateo with a phenomenal view of Lake Ontario. Pizza and Poutine will be served throughout the night. Don’t forget to bring some taxi money to get home later. This event is free.|

|SGPS Kingston Trolley Tour||The trolley leaves from in front of the JDUC on Union Street at 2 pm; 3 pm and 4 pm.||Saturday, September 10th from 2 pm to 6 pm.
Tours are available at 2 pm; 3 pm and 4 pm.

|Orientation Dance Mixer at the Grad Club||The Grad Club

|Saturday, September 10th from 8 pm to last call.||FREE||Come tear up the floor at the Grad Club SGPS Dance Mixer. The Grad Club is exclusively open for SGPS members, plus ones are welcome—so come out and dance (or chill in one of the Grad Clubs many lounges). This event is drop-in!|

|A Kingston Tradition! Meet at the Wolfe Island Ferry at 10am! We will cross the ferry, board the bus and head on over to the Corn Maze for a delicious BBQ lunch and cookies. Remember, the ferry leaves at 1030 SHARP, so don’t be late. This event requires a ticket!|
