The end of the semester can be a difficult time. Here are some resources that can provide support.

Addiction and Mental Health Services – KFLA
Offers mental health support in the way of case management, group treatment and support, crisis support individual counselling, and intensive support. The AMHS-KFLA crisis line is staffed 24/7, 365 days a year by experienced professionals who can provide immediate support, advocacy and referrals to appropriate services as needed. ConnexOntario Helpline
Free and confidential health services information for people experiencing problems with alcohol and drugs, mental illness or gambling. Help is available toll-free at 1.866.531.2600, via text message at 247247, or through their live web chat available on their website.

The Student Assistance Program (formerly known as EmpowerMe)
Offers crisis and short term supportive counselling related to relationships, family care, depression, anxiety, addictions, stress, work conflicts and much more. Free of charge.

Good2Talk
A free, confidential support service for post-secondary students in Ontario. Good2Talk can support students through a wide range of issues that may be impacting their mental health and well-being, including: depression, anxiety, substance abuse, academic stress, personal or family relationships, loneliness, financial concerns and other challenges facing students.

Student Wellness Services
Students who require urgent help will be triaged and connected with our crisis counsellor and/or be connected to community crisis support.  We take mental health crises very seriously and understand that timely care is of utmost importance. A same-day counselling clinic is offered Mon. – Thurs. 1–4 pm; Fri. 1–3 pm in Mitchell Hall.
Student Wellness Services hours may vary around winter break and statutory holidays. Please check their website for the most up-to-date information.

Telephone Aid Line Kingston
Telephone Aid Line Kingston (TALK) is a distress, crisis, befriending, and information phone line serving all members of the Kingston community. The service is non-judgmental, confidential, and anonymous. Experienced volunteers are available between the hours of 6 P.M. – 2 A.M at 613.544.1771.

Available to any anyone living in Canada, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
