March 2025 Special Referendum Result

The SGPS is pleased to announce that our March 2025 special referendum regarding Bus-It, which is the fee that allows students access to Kingston Transit, had a successful result.

SGPS Members will continue to have access to Kingston Transit for the next three years.

We want to thank our members for setting a voting turnout record. Your voices helped uphold accessibility and sustainability for the Queen’s community.

We would also like to thank Ayan Chowdhury, AMS Vice-President of Operations and Lyn Parry, AMS General Manager, for their tireless work to secure a fair deal for all Queen’s students. Their efforts secured a positive referendum result for the AMS membership, as well.
