Awareness and Intervention Training for SGPS Members

November 19, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Want to learn more about discrimination, micro aggressions, and steps you can take to safely intervene and support students? Please join us for a free Awareness and Intervention Training for SGPS Members held by the AMS Social Issues Commissioner. This training will be instrumental if you’re a TA dealing with students, when you’re dealing with classmates, or really in any aspect of life. It will be held on November 19th from 6-7:30pm in the SGPS Lounge (room 237 of the JDUC) and there will be a Question & Answer period to follow. Pizza will be served during the training as well!

We are committed to meeting the accessibility needs of SGPS students. Please contact equity@sgps.ca for any accessibility requirements or dietary restrictions. This training is free, but please RSVP below so we know how many people are attending!
