Experience Ontario’s unique fall foliage at one of the most popular hiking destinations near Kingston!
The SGPS will be taking a bus to Rock Dunder on Sunday, October 15. We will be leaving from the John Deutsch University Centre (JDUC) at 2pm. It takes about 45 minutes to reach Rock Dunder.
We will be completing the “Summit Loop” in order to get the best panoramic views of the Fall Foliage at Rock Dunder. The Summit Loop is a 3.9km hike that goes through a variety of forests, offering sneak peaks over rocky cliffs and a panoramic view of the Rideau Waterway.
This will be a rain or shine event, so make sure to dress appropriately. Hiking shoes are recommended, but running shoes will work fine. Students are responsible for wearing adequate clothing (in preparation for the weather) and are responsible for bringing water and snacks.
The bus will be arriving back at Queen’s University at approximately 5pm.
