What does the SGPS International Student Affairs Standing Committee do?
The committee works in collaboration with the SGPS International Student Affairs Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner. The committee discusses issues relevant to international and migrant students to enrich the ability of the Commission to advocate for those it represents. The committee also generates ideas for events, initiatives, and campaigns.

What is the Time Commitment?
The committee runs from November 2021 until April 2022. The committee will meet once every month for one hour throughout this time.

What Skills are Necessary?
The ability to listen and the ability to share ideas in a respectful manner are the only requirements of this committee. The committee offers students an opportunity to get involved in student governance at Queen’s, and to gain experience in event planning, minute-taking, and a variety of other areas.
