Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis effective immediately, the SGPS Bursary program is operating at a reduced capacity until further notice.
If you have incurred an unexpected or sudden emergency expense due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, you are likely eligible for an emergency bursary. Please consult the Bursary Guide attached here, for the documentation required to process your application. Funds are limited and applications are processed on a first come, first served basis.
Please note: The Office of the University Registrar (OUR) is also offering assistance at this time. Learn more, check out the Student Awards COVID-19 Updates page.
Due to recent measures that the SGPS has implemented to curb the spread of COVID-19, the SGPS will no longer be issuing physical cheques. As such, we will need you to provide your direct deposit banking information in order to process your application. Please use caution when sharing and storing your banking information and please consult this link on how to protect yourself from falling victim to fraud.
Due to the reduced service capacity of the SGPS at this time, we will work as fast as possible to ensure you receive a timely response and a prompt service. For additional information, please contact Vice President Finance and Services, Abel Hazon (firstname.lastname@example.org)
